We do not breed, buy, or sell parrots!  Our primary goal is to provide a second chance for companion parrots.  We will work to rehabilitate birds who have behavior issues.  We feel that all feathered family members deserve a second chance to find a home and a loving family to join.   We strive to provide the local community with educational programs that enlighten community members about the various birds and the commitment required to care for them.  We also strive to provide routine field trips that will further enrich the educational awareness and potentially improve relations between the community and Second Chance Bird Rescue.

Huge Muncho

This toy is packed with tons of cool stuff. It has over 100 pieces on it, and that does NOT include the superior cotton rope. It is made on a large reusable piece of wood with 16 strands of poly rope. On each strand there is anything from natural rectangles, alphabet letters, natural hardwood shapes, golf balls, pacifiers, jumbo dice, and so  much   more. This toy weighs about 5 pounds, and is 24 inches long, and 10 inches wide.  It now has cool leather shapes added to the above.

What a wonderful, all natural, refillable, large bird toy for very destructive beaks.  Especially those that chew rope!  This toy is completely made of chain.  It weighs close to five pounds and has a nice combination of hardwood wheels, pine rectangles, and all natural wood slices.  Each of the four strands has a solid, bird safe welded O ring at the bottom.  At the top of each strand are four quick links connected to eye hooks.  These will come very tight so your bird cannot open them.  When it comes time to refill the toy, open the quick links with pliers, refill the strands and put them back on!  Instantly you have a nice new toy.  The refill kit is available to your right.  The center block of wood that everything hangs from is a very hard piece of maple, and I have yet to see a bird that can do much if any damage to it!  This toy measures approximately 10 inches wide, by 20 inches long.
